AI POULTRY FARMERS- IDENTIFICATION

STUDY OVERVIEW

A study conducted on the production efficiency associated with using artificial intelligence (AI) in poultry farming in Central Uganda. The study was aimed towards understanding the currently practiced poultry production systems, farmers awareness and willingness to adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI) in poultry production, AI systems already adopted by farmers, costs associated with poultry production, investments in terms of poultry production infrastructures, veterinary and biosafety costs, generated poultry products (outputs) in relation to inputs, poultry market access by farmers, and future prospects towards adopting use of AI in poultry production.
